Job Listing Details

  • Obtain all payroll data from managers and employees including but not limited to hours, salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations and employee deductions.
  • Data entry or import of time detail into system. Review all information for completeness and accuracy. Report any potential issues.
  • Process new hire data into payroll system including, but not limited to: personal information, pay rate and job code data, W-4 wage withholding information and exemptions, all payroll deductions and electronic funds transfer data.
  • Calculate and process all payroll related changes including but not limited to: transfers, terminations, promotions, and changes in pay.
  • Process wage adjustments, calculating per payroll deduction as necessary, following all state and federal guidelines.
  • Handle all payroll discrepancies
  • Position will assist all managers and employees with Time & Attendance system
  • Coordinates recruitment activities on local level to include creating/posting job ads, scheduling/conducting job interviews, conducting background/reference checks, setting up physicals and drug tests, make new hire packets, making hiring recommendations, and on-boarding new hires. Position will partner with managers to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
  • Position will build applicant sources by researching and contacting local community agencies and resources; providing organization information, hiring opportunities, and building/maintaining rapport.
  • Position will coordinate company’s on-boarding program for new hires
  • compensation including salary/rate and retroactive pay increases, and other pre- or post-tax deductions.
  • Position will assist with gathering information for leaves of absence to include FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and Disability Programs.
  • Position will be responsible for document retention procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all HR related laws and guidelines.
  • Weekly filing of employee & company files to ensure confidentiality & compliancy
  • Support HR Manager and Senior Management team in other related work, special projects, and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Skill in organizing resources while establishing timelines and priorities. Requires minimal supervision.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret HR related data, reports, statements and/or projections.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative and safe work environment.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws pertinent to the company.
  • Monitor and maintain employee information and files, including accurately inputting employee data.
  • Able to assist with organizational training and development programs
     

 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 1-2 years of recruiting or other HR related experience and 3-5 years of ADP or other payroll experience required.
  • PHR preferred.
