Welcome!

From Your Chapter President

Welcome to Miami Valley Human Resources Association.

I am honored to serve as President of the Miami Valley Human Resources Association and excited about the future of our chapter. MVHRA has so much to be proud of. Over the past several years, we have launched innovative programming and expanded member benefits, including HR Communities and the Mentoring Program as well as built strong partnerships with local organizations such as the Dayton Chamber of Commerce, Technology First, the HR Collaborative, and Clothes That Work. These initiatives continue to make a meaningful impact on our community and in workplaces across the Miami Valley.

Because of the dedication and engagement of our members, volunteers, and board leaders, MVHRA has earned the SHRM Excel Platinum Award and the Pinnacle Award—recognition that reflects the strength, credibility, and influence of our chapter. I am grateful for the foundation built by past leaders and for the continued commitment of those who serve our organization today.

In the coming months, we will remain focused on bringing even greater value to our members through our professional development opportunities, practical HR tools and templates, legal and compliance guidance, and networking that builds meaningful connections and support career growth.

I joined MVHRA to connect with other HR professionals, grow my knowledge, and give back to a profession I am passionate about. Through my involvement, I have experienced firsthand the power of this community—its willingness to share, mentor, and support one another. MVHRA continues to be a place where HR professionals can learn, lead, and grow together.

Thank you for being part of MVHRA. I look forward to working alongside you as we continue to strengthen our chapter and advance the HR profession in the Miami Valley.
